Still Today God So Loves Man I

Still today God so loves man (Miracles)

(April 22, 2015)

God loves you!  More than you could ever dream or imagine.  And He wants fellowship with you.  In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve walked with God and He wants to walk with you and have fellowship with you.  I want to share some real life examples from my life that witness this truth.  In this first part God used a miracle to show me His love and protection.  As we walk with God He reveals Himself in many ways, unexpected ways, always more and more awesome and exciting.  Just recalling the moment always brings tears of joy to my eyes.  Giving more and more of yourself to Him and walking with Him just becomes more and more wonderful as the years go by.  The story I am about to tell you is just one of many miracles that I have witnessed in my life time.

I was hunting in the Three Sisters Wilderness in the evening and wandered too far away from the main trail.  When it came time to head back I could not find the trail in the dark.  After several attempts to find the trail I finally gave up and decided to just head down hill, guessing the general direction back to camp.  That turned out to be the worst decision I could have ever made.

My time in the woods is always an opportunity to spend extra time with God and to enjoy the presence of His Spirit in the beauty of His creation.  But now that creation was turning into a trap.  Every time I would start heading one way I would end up running into a thicket that I couldn’t get through.  To top it off my flashlight didn’t have a lot time left.  I started to get very concerned, I was lost.  At that moment God sent the miracle.  All of the sudden I heard a loud noise in the dark that nearly scared me to death.  And I turned on the flashlight.

Just next to me on the limb of a tree was this big pure white owl.  It was so beautiful.  I had never seen anything like this in my life.  It sat there looking at me and blinking its big eyes and then turning its head all the way around and back…It was awesome.  I thanked God for allowing me to see such a beautiful creature.  It was so close I thought I could almost touch it.

I forgot about being lost.  I was so excited.  Then after a few minutes it flew off about 50 yards away and landed on another limb and of course I wanted to see it more so I walked over to the owl and totally forgot about being lost.  I just wanted another look at that big beautiful pure white owl.  After a few minutes it flew again, and again, and again.  Always a different direction.  I followed it for about a half hour, totally enchanted by it beauty.  Then just like it appeared it suddenly and loudly disappeared.  I was alone again and my flashlight was about dead but there was a presence that made everything ok.  I knew I would be ok, even in the total silence of the night.  And then, all of the sudden I heard a car…getting closer and closer…and then I saw headlights as it went by just through the brush a few feet away.  It was the only road about a mile from camp.

Only an owl could find the way through the maze of the wilderness in the darkness of night and God sent the owl just for me.  It was so beautiful I didn’t even know it was leading me to safety.

God said “I love you…I will never leave you nor forsake you”

Give yourself more and more to Him and He will give more and more of Himself to you.  Walk with Him and be amazed and awe struck over and over again as He reveals Himself to you.  Fellowship available to all, don’t miss it…jump in with all you've got!  He is waiting for you!
Stay tuned to part 2.  Hearing His voice.
