Vision of a Monstrous Wave

(October 27, 2013)

It was Sunday morning during the worship service when the Holy Spirit came to me. His presence was different than I was used to because He stopped right where I was standing. I remember saying to Him, "What?", and immediately I saw this monster wave that covered everything in it's path. People were being washed away without any hope by this rushing mighty wave. And as the wave passed the water continued to rise and race by with an unstoppable deadly force. I asked the Spirit, "What about the the children of God?". The Holy Spirit assured me that they were above the water so I kept looking for them and could not see anyone above the water. I started trying to imagine them suspended above the water as I looked out over the scene but gave up trying because all I could see was this mighty raging water filled with people, some struggling to survive while many others had already succumbed to it's deadly powers. As I continued to look at the vision I asked "Where are they?" And the scene changed. I saw what looked like hill tops or mountain tops that were just above the water like islands and there were some people that were on them stepping out into the water grabbing those that were floating by in the swift waters racing by the islands, rescuing as many as they could. Referring to those on the island, the Holy Spirit said, "These are those who have renewed their minds." I immediately recalled Romans 12:1-2.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1, 2 KJV)

The worship service ended and I sat down puzzled by what had taken place. I listened to Pastor Jon for a while enjoying his word from the Lord but kept getting pulled back to the Spirit. Finally I asked, "What does all of this mean?" Then the Holy Spirit spoke this to me...

The water was a mass of events and evil that is about to overcome people around the world. Nothing like this has ever been seen in the world and it will come like a tidal wave, its timing will be totally unexpected. However, the people of the world will be expecting something. It will take place like the after effect of an earthquake. People will fear it's coming but not know when or how big and bad it is. Only those who have renewed their minds will be ready.

I sat and contemplated this for awhile and then found myself blending what Pastor Jon was sharing with what I had just seen and heard. After awhile I drifted to current events and could see that people were already living in fear of what was happening around them; politics, weather, space, terrorism, riots, media. I said to the Holy Spirit "it looks like the fear is already here, has the earthquake that leads to this tidal wave already taken place?" He said "Yes, the wave will hit very soon".

The confirmation (The Holy Spirit always gives me confirmation to His word)

I received a word from The Lord in a text just a few minutes before the Holy Spirit gave me the vision. It said

"John 16:13-15 But when He, the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify Me because it is from Me that He will receive what He will make known to you."

The sound was off on my phone because I was in church. I was unaware of the text until after I shared this word with Pastor Burt and Pastor Jon.

During the morning God put a man on my mind. This man was in upper management that I reported to who had spent a year trying to destroy my career and testimony which only ended in him being terminated. God broke him and he asked if he could come to our Friday prayer meeting. God worked a miracle in his life. He gave me the word from God. I had never received a text or a word from him before this. God used a man who I had a part in rescuing to confirm this vision.
