A Year Of Unexpected

I was caught by surprise when I heard, "This will be a year of unexpected". I was quite puzzled by the word because I have never had a word for the year before and never even considered asking for one. And, when I asked for what He meant I wasn't getting any answer. About 4 or 5 days later I heard again and this time I could understand as He spoke. Here is some of what I saw.

Things were happening all over the place that were totally unexpected. Everyone was having things happen that were just so surprising and overwhelming. Looking around they could see others just numb and confounded by the events that were taking place. Many pastors of churches who did not believe that these were the last days were remorseful and repenting for not preparing their flock for what was coming on the earth. Were they too late to fill their lamps with oil? That question haunts me. What about their flocks? God's Word is clear...we are supposed to be watching and ready. Are we any different than the religious people when Christ came the first time? I find that most Christians do not want to hear about prophecy...and alot of them are pastors, the ones that are to lead the flock and prepare them for what is coming.

Get ready, pray in the Spirit daily, and listen, for the Lord is near.
